Some places surprise you 💙🇧🇷✨I was so surprised by some of the Favelas in Rio. I ignorantly imagined them to be these shanti towns over ridden with crime, but they are not like this at all, they are just full of people living their lives just like anywhere else in the world. It just opened my eyes to how different the world is from what we imagine, it is so much better. I am so glad that I came to see it and recommend it. ✨🇧🇷💙✨

It is crazy bc the views from some of the spots in the Favelas are so beautiful!! Loved doing this awesome tour. It was very safe and loved ending it with the capoeira and samba dance crew. Amazing cultural experience.

💙✨Note: some of the Favelas are def very dangerous, so I’m not at all saying just go drop in one for fun, but doing a guided historical tour in a safe area is for sure worth it 😉
